Teaming up with Bolton Wanderers to support communities

The Community Trust provides sport, health and education activities to residents across Bolton.

Bolton Wanderers Community Trust is the charitable arm of the football club. The Community Trust provides sport, health and education activities to residents across Bolton. Projects are aimed at people of all ages and those who benefit include disabled people, children in care, the unemployed and people with mental health issues.

We work in partnership with The Community Trust to provide free sport and wellbeing activities in our communities, including the Premier League Kicks programme. These initiatives help people to connect with others, build confidence and improve their mental wellbeing. We support the Community Trust by providing funding and a branded minibus for the benefit of you and your children.

Talking about our relationship with the Community Trust, its Head, Phil Mason, says: “The valuable partnership between Bolton at Home and the Community Trust makes such a difference to the engagement work we can offer in communities.

“As well as helping Bolton at Home tenants and their families improve their physical and mental health, the partnership enables us to get alongside those who need additional support and encourage them to make a change in their lives. Both organisations are working to make Bolton a better place to live.”

Phil Mason, Community Trust Head.
