Many Careline customers were identified as being at high risk from coronavirus and advised to shield during the earlier stages of the pandemic. However, we ensured that they continued to receive emergency support if they contacted us.
To keep customers safe, we recruited additional staff to cover shifts and supported people by phone where possible.
We used additional personal protective equipment when required to help customers in person in emergency response situations at home.
We maintained a 24/7 service throughout and used frequent testing to protect the service and customers as much as possible.
